This video shows the installation of a PullRite Super 5th Wheel Hitch using a custom designed, vehicle specific mounting kit for a stronger, safer, and more stable towing platform for towing 5th wheel trailers. Super 5th hitches (16K & 20.5K hitches) installed using SuperBrackets use existing holes in the frame of the truck, minimizing the need to drill additional holes, and weakening the truck frame. They also utilize all 8 base rail bolts in the bed, to transfer the weight of the trailer to the frame of the truck – rather than just half the bolts being structural strength points, as other brands offer. Super 5th hitches can also be installed using less expensive Universal Mounting Brackets, and for the ultimate 5th wheel hitch installation, SuperRail kits provide totally removable base rails, and utilize the stronger SuperBracket type frame rail kits.
